Ford & Lincoln Models Dominate List of US Fuel Efficient Cars

Ford/Lincoln of Ocala, your neighborhood Florida Ford and Lincoln car dealer in Ocala, is excited to inform that Motor Authority, a leading source for new and used cars, has listed three Ford cars and one Lincoln car on a list of six U.S. cars which deliver more than 30 mpg in EPA combined fuel-economy tests.

The 2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid mid-size sedan offers 39 mpg. The car, a 2010 model, has been a favorite car of many. It is more spacious than the Toyota Camry Hybrid and comes with an elegant dashboard and information display. The new 2013 Fusion will be equipped with a host of fuel-efficient powertrains. A pair of EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engines, a hybrid version, and even a plug-in hybrid (Fusion Energi) will be available.

The 2012 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid also yields 39 mpg. Basically an ultra luxurious version of the Ford Fusion Hybrid, the MKZ Hybrid is known for its quiet ride and stylistic elements.

Next is the 2012 Ford Fiesta with 33 mpg. A fiesta for car enthusiasts, this subcompact is available in hatchback and sedan versions. The modern and enjoyable Fiesta SFE touches the 40 mpg mark and offers SYNC voice-command and digital device interface system.

The first hybrid crossover utility vehicle, the 2012 Ford Escape Hybrid delivers a combined fuel economy of 32 mpg. It is a rare car that offers mechanical all-wheel drive along with its hybrid system. The FWD models better and are highly suited to ferry children to and from football practice sessions and transport people as taxi cabs. The all-new, redesigned global 2013 Escape comes with a pair of EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engines without a hybrid model.
