This past weekend Ford Lincoln of Ocala and hundreds of airplane enthusiasts experienced history with the arrival of the Experimental Aviation Association's (EAA) "Fly The Ford, Wings Over Ocala" tour. The exhibit featured a 1929 Ford Tri-Motor aircraft known as the "Tin Goose" accompanied by an authentic World War II B-17 Bomber nicknamed "The Flying Fortress". Tickers were available to the public to enjoy rides on both aircraft. Also at the show was a collection of beautifully restored vintage warbirds documenting the history of our nations air power in days gone by. Alongside the aircraft was an array of over 200 cherished collector cars & trucks for the public to enjoy. An equal amount of excitement centered around the assemblance of a 2015 Mustang, Built Ford Touch F-150, a Powerstroke Diesel F-350 Super-Duty, all not to be outdone by the beautifully sculptured 2015 Lincoln MKZ. Be sure and watch for the next opportunity to witness history when the Ford Tri-Motor returns to the area.
